Sleep deprivation has become a global public health problem at epidemic levels, according to the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). The truth is we are simply not getting enough sleep, which is having serious ramifications on our health, even shortening our lives! In fact, scientists agree that sleep is as vital to our body as water, food, and exercise so why then are we skimping out on our much needed rest?!
We at BlackoutBlinds.ca believe part of the problem is an overall lack of awareness of just how harmful sleep deprivation is to us.
